Therapy services can be delivered in the home, school, kindergarten, or via telehealth to support the child’s ability to apply learnt skills. This therapy model facilitates families and educational staff to build skills to support children to achieve their goals in their natural environment.

ABOUT STEPHANIE
Through many years of working with children and adults with a variety of conditions and disabilities, Stephanie has found her passion with children and young adults who face challenges across many areas of their life. Stephanie has extensive experience working with those who face challenges in the following areas: self regulation and sensory processing, handwriting, fine and gross motor skills, executive functioning and building independence in everyday self care skills.
Stephanie adopts a neuro-affirming, person-centred and family-centred approach. Stephanie’s first priority for therapy is to ensure she sees the world from the child’s perspective. This enables Stephanie to ensure therapy is tailored to each individual child, and to provide individualised recommendations that best meets the needs of the child.
Stephanie has completed qualifications in many evidence based approaches used in Occupational Therapy including Learn to Play, Cognitive Orientation to Occupational Performance (CO-OP), Functional Hand Use in Hemiplegia, Handwriting Without Tears, Environmental Home Modifications and Sleep with Disability.
Stephanie’s favourite part of her job is seeing the big smiles on children’s faces when they achieve their goals.
